"Vakhnina and Partners" took part in the first conference of the Assembly of Eurasian Patent Attorneys

Vakhnina and Partners took part in the first conference of the Assembly of Eurasian Patent Attorneys in Minsk, Belarus. Dr. Alexey Vakhnin, Partner of the Company, held a round table and Dr. Tatyana Vakhnina, Senior Partner of the Company, spoke at the closing ceremony of the Conference.

Patent Attorneys from 8 Eurasian countries took part in the conference, we were glad to see and hear from everyone.

The first conference of the Assembly went smoothly organized and was a great success.

As participants of the conference, we are thankful for the support to the Eurasian Patent Office and its President, Dr. Grigory Ivliev, the National Center of Intellectual Property of the Republic of Belarus and its head, Mr. Vladimir Ryabovolov, as well as the entire organizing committee of the Conference and the Assembly.

The program included 7 presentation sections on topical issues of the development of the Eurasian patent legislation, we will discuss in detail:

Prospects and plans for the development of the EAPO, the Eurasian Trademark (we will discuss the new draft system proposed by the EAPO), Utility models and their prospects, features of technology licensing in the Eurasian space (LES), patenting of industrial designs in the EAPO, judicial practice of the participating states (AIPPI), life during sanctions, what about payments?!
